Edwina Currie (Conservative Party Member Of Parliament) – £4.1 Million

Edwina Currie, a representative of the Conservative Party, represented South Derbyshire in Legislature from June 1983 to May 1997. From September 1986 to December 1988, she also held the position of Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Health. After the salmonella in eggs scandal, Currie resigned as Junior Health Minister.

She has authored eight books including “A Parliamentary” and “Chasing Men.” When her works were published in 2002, they exposed her liaison with John Major, the then-Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Currie presented the chat program “Late Night Currie” on BBC Radio Five Live and the TV series “Currie Night” on HTV.
