Pilots Need Naps Too
If we are to take data from the National Institutes of Health at face value, then a high percentage of pilots suffer from severe fatigue. And this guy belongs in that category. Although we can accept that pilots are humans and subject to fatigue, this picture doesn’t exactly send a positive message to people who fly often.
Speaking of pilots falling asleep midflight, a passenger aboard a charter flight sometime in 2003 recorded a video of the plane’s captain dozing off. And he was so far gone that not even the flash from a camera was enough to wake him up.
