From Shakespeare to Chocolate Bars: Check These 45 Treasures That Britain Gifted the World

The Multinational Hereford Cattle

As the name implies, Hereford cattle originated from Herefordshire in the West Midlands of England. Known for their conker-colored skin, they have traveled thousands of miles and been through many countries. It is believed that there are more than five million purebred Hereford cattle worldwide, including in Japan, Israel, and South America.

They are known for many things but also bear a fair share of advantages and disadvantages. They have foraging ability and longevity, in which they can remain profitable at stud beyond the age of 12. However, handling Hereford cattle also requires more responsibility because they are sensitive to extreme weather conditions.
