LEONARDO FIORAVANTI
Leonardo Fioravanti è un surfista romano di 24 anni, il primo italiano a qualificarsi alla World Surf League nel 2017. Il suo percorso sportivo inizia a 6 anni, quando seguiva il fratello Matteo, noto surfista della nazionale italiana. Leonardo dimostra fin da subito di avere stoffa nel surf e nel giro di pochi anni diventa un professionista in questo sport girando per le Maldive, Australia, Francia e Brasile. Nel 2010 vince il Rip Curl Grom Search a Hossegor ripetendo l’esperienza vittoriosa nel 2012 a Panama mentre rappresenta il team italiano. Il surfista giramondo ha trascorso il lockdown in Australia dove si trovava da prima che scoppiasse la pandemia a livello mondiale. Qui Fioravanti ha disputato una gara a Sidney dove ha vinto ma poi è rimasto bloccato li altri 4 mesi poiché impossibilitato al rimpatrio. Una esperienza che comunque ricorda piacevolmente.
