He may have impressed us with his acting skills on the TV musical comedy “Glee,” but singer-songwriter and dancer Mathew Morrison didn’t start his career in acting. The “American Horror Story” star’s journey began as a New York restaurant server before proceeding to work at a Gap clothing store.
Even though there’s no word if his waiting gig had some singing, it perhaps helped him immensely in executing the waiter role in an episode of season two of “S*x and the City.” Morrison’s acting career did, however, start on Broadway, where he appeared in a musical adaptation of “Footloose” and “The Rocky Horror Show.”
