Sinds ze met haar wereldhit de soundtrack van de film Titanic opluisterde, is het succes van Celine Dion groter geworden dan ooit. Ze verzamelde tal van prijzen, kon miljoenen albums verkopen en kreeg er natuurlijk ook aardig voor betaald. Dion liet dat fortuin niet zomaar onbenut op haar spaarboekje staan en kocht een paar woningen aan. In Florida haalde ze ongeveer 45 miljoen dollar uit haar buidel om een pand op haar naam te zetten, en in Montréal wou ze ook wel een huis kopen. En alhoewel het pand dat ze aankocht in Las Vegas veruit het goedkoopste van allemaal was, met een prijs van slechts 1,2 miljoen dollar, is het al enkele jaren haar vaste woonplaats. Natuurlijk zit de pandemie daar ook wel voor iets tussen. Veel heeft ze echter niet nodig, want de woning heeft slechts drie slaapkamers, maar biedt dan wel veel buitenruimte met een eigen zwembad en geeft ook toegang tot een golfbaan.
