I film Italiani più belli di sempre: scopriamo quali sono e qualche aneddoto
NOVECENTO (1976)
Novecento è un film diretto da Bernardo Bertolucci che narra il ventennio fascista ambientato nella ricca provincia parmense, la stessa dove nacque il regista. La pellicola racconta le dinamiche sociali che nutrirono il regime di Mussolini portandolo inevitabilmente alla rovina. Novecento rimanda alla dialettica servo-padrone, dove i volti dei protagonisti ne sono espressione: il vecchio faccione di Burt Lancaster che incarna la conservazione mummificata del potere dovrà cedere il passo al futuro di nuovi volti come quello ovale di Stefania Sandrelli, passando attraverso il naso contadino di Depardieu, i tratti affilati di De Niro. Questi personaggi interpretano magistralmente quell’italietta fascista che abbassava la testa quando sopraggiungeva il capo e la rialzava pronta a punire i fragili e i disarmati. In Italia il film venne proiettato in due atti e riscosse molto successo.
