Hollywood Couples and Their Surprising Love Stories That Stood the Test of Time
Jean-Claude Van Damme & Gladys Portugues – Married Since 1987
Jean-Claude Van Damme is renowned for his heyday in the ‘80s and ‘90s. This was when he starred in an array of classic fight films like “Kickboxer,” “Bloodsport” and “Street Fighter.” But for the muscles from Brussels, landing roles were easier than holding down marriages.
He has been married five times to four women. The woman he married twice? That is Gladys Portugues, who he first married in 1987 until 1992, and then again in 1999. They have since been holding together brilliantly. In 2021 he starred in a film called “The Last Mercenary.”
