Jürgen Prochnow, geboren 1941
Jürgen Prochnow ist ein Schauspieler, der über Umwege seinen Weg in die Welt des Entertainments fand. Zunächst absolvierte er eine Bankkaufmannslehre, bevor er seine Leidenschaft für Schauspielerei entdeckte und eine Schauspielschule besuchte. Seine Karriere begann am Theater, jedoch eroberte er Anfang der 70er Jahre zunehmend die Fernsehbildschirme.
Der Höhepunkt seiner Laufbahn kam mit seiner Rolle als Kapitän im international gefeierten Film “Das Boot”, der seinen internationalen Durchbruch markierte. Anschließend war Prochnow in zahlreichen Hollywoodproduktionen zu sehen, darunter “Air Force One” und “Beverly Hills Cop”. Nach vielen Jahren zwischen zwei Wohnsitzen in den USA und Deutschland lebt er heute wieder fest in seiner Heimat.
