Drones are effective at helping us see places that are otherwise too dangerous to visit. Take this Port Aransas neighborhood for example. After Hurricane Harvey devastated the United States, particularly Texas, in 2017 many streets were submerged and impassable.
It became a Category 4 in just a few hours, making Hurricane Harvey the biggest and deadliest to have ever made landfall since 2005’s Hurricane Wilma. Unfortunately, even after its category changed after battering Texas, it still brought heavy rainfall that caused flooding in other parts of the country. It also claimed at least 100 lives in the state most affected alone.
