Katharine Ross – Born in 1940 – Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

Legendary actress Katharine Ross has been flying the Hollywood flag for over six decades. Before she rose to stardom in 1969 after appearing in the film “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” she was active in theatrical productions while attending Santa Rosa Junior College.

The two-time Golden Globe award winner has starred in numerous films, including the horror movie “The Legacy,” “The Shadow Riders,” and the 2017 comedy-drama “The Hero,” featuring her husband Sam Elliott. Ross spent most of her days in the ’80s shooting TV shows and movies and entered semi-retirement in the ’90s. She has also received many accolades, including a BAFTA and an Academy Award.
