Maya wuchs von klein auf in Begleitung großer Namen auf, angefangen bei ihrem Urgroßvater, einem Dramatiker und Drehbuchautor, über ihre Großmutter, ein schwedisches Model, bis hin zu ihren Eltern Uma Thurman und Ethan Hawke, beide Schauspieler. Es ist daher keine Überraschung, Maya auf der kleinen und großen Leinwand oder auf dem roten Teppich zu sehen, insbesondere nach ihrem Debüt im Fernsehen, mit einer Vergangenheit als Model und jetzt als Schauspielerin. Die vielversprechende amerikanische Schauspielerin gehört seit kurzem zur Besetzung der dritten Staffel von “Stranger Things” und sorgt dafür, dass sich immer mehr Menschen und Fans in sie verlieben.
