Cadillacs Were Everywhere – 1975

The Cadillac was and still is seen as a glamorous vehicle that symbolizes status and luxury. However, Cadillacs were more common than many people assume during the mid-’60s to mid-’70s. They were among the most successful auto manufacturers in the country, and their peak year was 1969—back when, according to Tunnel Ram, they sold a whopping 278,000 units in the United States alone.

Surely a must of America in the ’70s, the average Cadillac cost around $6K at the time. We know it does not sound like much, but it’s equivalent to more than $40K if adjusted for inflation.
