Andy Burnham (Mayor Of Greater Manchester) – £1.2 Million
Apart from being known for his position as Major of Greater Manchester from 2017, Andy Burnham was also the Head of Secretary to the Treasury under Gordon Brown in 2007 and 2008. His other roles include Culture Secretary under Brown in 2008 and 2009 and Health Department under Brown in 2009 and 2010.
Further promotion to the position of Secretary of State for Health occurred in 2009. He fought against the privatization of the NHS and initiated a probe into the issue at Stafford Hospital while in that position. As a result of the 2010 leadership contest, in which the Labor Party lost.
