Today, Carr continues to work for Bellhops Moving, also working part-time as an EMT at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also remains in touch with the Lameys and regularly plays basketball with her sons. Carr also recently took a ministry trip to Fort Smith in Arkansas.
Meanwhile, Carr also still has the Ford Escape! But, while the car remains in fantastic shape, that has not stopped the young man from walking to work every now and again – when it’s close by, of course! “I do it here and there,” Carr said in a recent interview. Thanks to his dedication and generosity, this young man’s story will live on forever…
