As stated, in the end, Carr earned more than $100,000 from his GoFundMe. Now, he could have spent all that on himself. Instead, he decided to donate a large portion of the money that people donated to him. That’s right! In fact, he’s started working with the Birmingham Education Foundation and even gave them $25,000, taken directly from the GoFundMe donations.
Over the past few years, Carr has not only graduated from Lawson State Community College with an associate’s degree in science, but also started a career as a public speaker. Even now, he says his work’s not done…
