Daniel Day-Lewis – Age 63

Daniel Day-Lewis is a powerful actor and widely regarded as one of the greatest actors of his generation. He cut his teeth in theater, with lead roles in “Hamlet” and also parts in “Romeo and Juliet” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” But when he moved into the film industry, he made waves.

He is noted for his Oscar-winning performance in 1989’s “My Left Foot” and “The Last of the Mohicans.” He also did notable work with director Martin Scorsese starring in “The Age of Innocence,” before retiring in 1997. Three years later, he returned, again with Scorsese in “Gangs of New York.” He retired again after appearing in 2017’s “Phantom Thread.”
