Anni Frid Lyngstadt, Haus am Genfer See
Mit der Erfolgsband „ABBA“ wurde Anna Frid Lyngstadt in den 1970er und 80er Jahren zum Weltstar. nachdem sich das Quartett 1982 auflöste heiratete die Schwedin Prinz Heinrich Ruzzo Reuss von Plauen und zog mit diesem in die Schweiz. Nach dem plötzlichen Tod ihres Mannes lebte Anni Frid Lyngstadt zunächst allein in ihrer Villa in Zermatt und ging oft wandern.
Mittlerweile wohnt Anni nicht mehr in dem alten Haus der Familie. Der Schweiz ist sie aber trotzdem treu geblieben und Inzwischen an den Genfersee gezogen, wo sie in der 1700-Seelen-Gemeinde Genolier ein Haus in der Nähe einer Privatklinik gekauft hat. Hier möchte Anni nun endlich ihren wohlverdienten Ruhestand genießen.
Oprah Winfrey ist heute weit entfernt von dem kleinen Einfamilienhaus in Mississippi, in dem sie aufgewachsen ist. Heute befinden sich zahlreiche atemberaubende Häuser im Wert von mehreren Millionen Dollar in ihrem Immobilienportfolio. Die Medienmogulin, Philanthropin und Schauspielerin hat sich im Laufe der Jahre eine ganze Reihe von erstaunlichen Immobilien angelegt.
Das erste Anwesen, das sich immer noch in Oprah’s besitzt findet ist das Promise Land in Montecito. Das prächtige Anwesen ist heute mehr als 100 Millionen Dollar wert und erstreckt sich über 70 Hektar. Das Herzstück des Anwesens ist die 23.000 Quadratmeter große Villa, ein beeindruckender neo-georgianischer Bau umgeben von einer erstaunlichen Gartenanlage mit zahlreichen Terrassen und Springbrunnen.
