Elton John, gleich fünf Villen in den Hotspots der Welt
Bei einem Vermögen von ungefähr einen halben Milliarden Dollar kann sich Elton John wirklich alles kaufen was man sich nur vorstellen kann. Statt nur einem riesigen, kostspieligen Anwesen besitzt er stattdessen zusammen mit seinem Mann David gleich fünf Villen, wobei alle „nur“ zwischen 6 und 8 Millionen Euro gekostet haben und in LA, Nizza, London und Atlanta stehen.
Ihren festen Wohnsitz haben die beiden aber in Los Angeles, wo auch die Kinder der beiden zur Schule gehen und Ehemann David als Filmproduzent arbeitet. Elton selbst schwärmt davon, für das Renovieren und Dekorieren der Villa zuständig zu sein, und das ständige Möbel-Shoppen sei schon fast zu einer Art Sucht geworden. Dabei ist er bei der Einrichtung keineswegs minimalistisch – sein Motto lautet: „Weniger ist weniger, mehr ist mehr“.
