This is because she is the only person to have won both the American Triple Crown (Oscar, Emmy Award, and Tony Award) and the British Triple Crown (BAFTA Film Awards, the BAFTA Television Awards, and the Laurence Olivier Awards).

These awards were earned thanks to impressive performances in films like “The Queen” and “Gosford Park.” But she is also noted for her performances in TV shows like “Prime Suspect” and “Elizabeth I” and in 2021 had a role in “F9: The Fast Saga.”

Thelma Barlow – Age 92

Retirement seems to be the top priority for Thelma Barlow. It’s been over two decades since she starred as mavis Wilton in “Coronation Street,” and she seems completely uninterested in coming back, having turned down numerous requests to return to the role.

Rita Tanner was never meant to be a permanent character in “Coronations Street” when she appeared in 1964. But Knox ensured she made a lasting impression, and by 1972 she was a regular cast member.

She eventually became a staple on the soap and is regarded as one of the longest-serving soap opera actresses in the world. She is the second longest-serving cast member on Coronation Street behind William Roach, who starred in every episode since the first one. In 2021 she was still starring as Tanner.

William Roache – Age 89

William Roach has been in the TV industry for over six decades. He has spent most of that time playing Ken Barlow in the long-running British soap opera “Coronation Street.” His time on the soap has seen him go into “The Guinness Book of World Records” as the longest-serving Make TV actor for a single character.

Although he hasn’t starred in anything other than “Corrie,” he has appeared in other shows.
