These Luxurious Homes Of Football Legends Will Redefine Your Taste In Real Estate

Peter Crouch, Age 41 – £4.5 Million, Alderley Edge

The former Stoke City striker Peter Crouch moved into a six-bedroom property in Alderly Edge, Cheshire when his move from Tottenham Hotspurs to Stoke City was confirmed. The six-foot-seven footballer must have been wooed by its high ceilings, cinema, and swimming pool.

The house was previously owned by the ex-cricketer Andrew Flintoff and was worth about £4.5 million ($5.4 million). Considering that he was earning a salary of about £80k ($96.5k) per week at the time, renting such a luxury pad was nothing that the striker could not afford. The six-bedroom mansion was built in 2009 and boasts up to 10,200 square feet of living space.
