These Hilarious Snow Photos Will Make You Either Love or Loathe Winter

Snow for Sale, Anyone?

A signboard reading “Snow for sale serious buyers only” being almost covered in thick snow is pure irony and hilarity. It’s funny because it pokes fun at the abundance of snow, suggesting selling something that’s already overly plentiful.

The thickest snow ever recorded was in Mount Ibuki, Japan, where a staggering 38.8 feet (11.82 meters) of snow was measured in February 1927. Record-breaking snowfall can happen in many places, with the recent notable one in Capracotta, Italy, where 100.8 inches (256 cm) fell within 18 hours in March 2015. This amusing sign reminds us of nature’s incredible and sometimes overwhelming snowy displays.
