Jimmy Rollings, playing for Philadelphia Phillies, got hit in the face with a pitch thrown by Cliff Lee in a match against Cleaveland Indians.
The ball, which hit him right between the eyes, must have hurt a lot. This is because Lee could bowl at speeds of 91 miles per hour, and this is the reason he got noticed for his talent when he was in school. We guess it wasn’t all bad for Rollings because his performance in 2007 got him awarded the Most Valuable Player Award.
