The Side of Sports You Rarely See: Hilarious Images of Our Favorite Athletes That’ll Make You Chuckle

FANS NEED TO STAY IN THEIR LANE

If this picture doesn’t prove Scott Podsednik’s skills then we don’t know what will. In 2005, when Podsednik was playing for the Chicago White Sox, there was a match against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium.

Tony Womack, then #12 of the Yankees, hit a fly-out, which Podsednik managed to catch even though he got punched in the face by a fan. The fan was attempting to reach for the ball too when the misplanned impact with Podsednik happened. This year was a great year for the Chicago Sox, as they ended up winning the World Series. Podensik was instrumental in their victory as he hit a walk-off home run in Game 2.
