TRYING TO IMPRESS THE OFFICIALS WITH HIS HAIR

Masanori Inoue was feeling the Olympic spirit when he cut and dyed his hair into the famous five-ring logo of the Olympics. Inoue was representing Japan at the bobsleigh event. He had also previously represented Japan at the 1998 Winter Olympics held in Japan. He debuted his new look at the Opening Ceremony of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. This picture is taken from a ski jump training session held at Utah Olympic Park.

The five rings of the Olympics symbol represent the union of athletes from five continents across the globe. The Americas (North and South) are considered one continent. The colors of the rings—red, blue, green, yellow, and black—are common to many flags around the world.
