Not only is actress Marsha Hunt one of the greatest actresses of all time, but she’s also a crucial part of Hollywood history! Many don’t know that Marsha Hunt was one of those actresses blacklisted by Hollywood film studio executives in the 1950s during McCarthyism. However, this didn’t stop Hunt from making an incredible comeback years later. In fact, afterward, she did some of her best work, appearing in many hit films like Burn to the West, Pride and Prejudice, Raw Deal, among others.
During the midst of the blacklist era, Hunt found a new passion and became active in the humanitarian cause of world hunger. Furthermore, she supported same-sex marriage, aided the homeless, promoted peace, and raised awareness of climate change. It seems like Hunt is determined to make the world a better place!
