Harry Belafonte – 94-Years-Old, $28 Million Net Worth

Don’t remember Harry Belafonte? Time to break out the old Calypso records! Belafonte became a massive hit in the ’50s, thanks mainly to the song “The Banana Boat Song.” However, there’s something that most people don’t know: he only started singing in order to pay for his acting classes. That’s right!
Sadly, while Belafonte never did make a massive splash as an actor, he did star in films like Against Tomorrow and Carmen Jones. Outside of his singing career, the singer has also been a highly active activist, most notably working with UNICEF. Today, the 94-year-old legend still sings, acts, and raises money for children in need – that’s pretty impressive!
