Special Women to Have Won the Nobel Prize with Their Remarkable Contributions

Alice Munro

The master of contemporary short stories Alice Munro is considered a revolutionist and the world architecture of many short stories. The legendary writer’s work is described as more embedded to announce and reveal various day-to-day events. Although most of them aren’t first-hand encounters, she focused more on her experiences and lessons.

In 2013, it was a great year for Munro when she won the Nobel Prize in Literature, four years after she received the Man Booker International Prize for her wonderful lifetime body of work and writing. The “Runaway” writer has also won other accolades, including bagging the Governor General’s Award three times.
