Puerto Rican actor Benicio del Toro has explained his aversion to marriage plenty of times: “Everyone says, ‘Why isn’t he married?’ But it’s like…why do I have to get married?” the actor explained recently. He went on to say that he did not want a wife or child to invade his space.
Over the years, Toro has had flings with the likes of Catherine Keener and Rod Stewart’s daughter, Kimberly Stewart, with whom he shares a child. While Toro has stated he didn’t want to become a father, he’s proved a wonderful father to his daughter, Delilah. Still, he’s never softened his stance on marriage.
