There have been incidents of unsportsmanlike conduct from tennis players who are prone to fits of rage. They break their rackets on the court or start misbehaving otherwise. Marat Safin, a Russian professional tennis player, broke his racket almost 700 times in his 12-year-long career.
Other tennis players that have smashed their rackets include Marcos Baghdatis, who let his rage fly at his racket during the 2012 Australian Open when he lost four sets to Stan Wawrinka. In fact, his rage was so over-the-top, that he destroyed four rackets on the same day. Novak Djokovic was no better at the Shanghai Masters final in 2012 when he lost the first set against Andy Murray.
