If this picture doesn’t prove Scott Podsednik’s skills then we don’t know what will. In 2005, when the Podsednik was playing at #22 for the Chicago White Sox, there was a match against the New York Yankees at the Yankee Stadium.

Tony Womack, then #12 of the Yankees, hit a fly-out, which Podsednik managed to catch even though he got punched in the face by a fan. The fan was attempting to reach for the ball too when the misplanned impact with Podsednik happened. Or he was a Yankees fan and intentionally punching a Sox player. Either way, it did not work.
