TRYING TO IMPRESS THE OFFICIALS WITH HIS HAIR

Masanori Inoue was feeling the Olympic spirit when he cut and dyed his hair into the famous five-ring logo of the Olympics. He debuted his new look at the Opening Ceremony of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. This picture is taken from a ski jump training session held at Utah Olympic Park.

Inoue was representing Japan at the Bobsleigh event. This year was also memorable because it was the first time the bobsleigh event had also been held for women. Germany topped the charts by winning four medals during the event. Inoue had previously represented Japan at the 1998 Winter Olympics held in Japan.
