While playing football, players wear special hoes called cleats. This footwear has studs at the end of them which provides the player with traction on the ground and prevents them from slipping. Depending on the type of field the match will be held and the player’s position in the team, the cleats, and their stud configuration can be customized to best adapt them to that scenario.

In this picture above, the spikey shoe is a bit too close for comfort to the other player’s face. If any contact has been made, it can be very dangerous because the studs on the shoe can pierce the skin and puncture the eyeball.
