EXTREME IRONING IS A LEGITIMATE SPORT
You’ve heard of wakeboarding, where a person stands on a wakeboard that is pulled at high speeds from a motor boat. People came up with a way to take the fun out of wakeboarding by adding a chore to it. Thus came extreme ironing, a sport where you try and iron at the most inappropriate of locations. In the picture above, a man tries to keep his balance while wakeboarding and trying to iron a piece of clothing.
People have attempted extreme ironing even at high altitudes. In 2003, a group of men ironed the Union Jack at, 5440 meters, just a bit above the Everest Base Camp.
