Agatha Christie: The Mind Behind

Agatha Christie is the mind behind some of the best stories revolving country-house murders, poisonings, psychopaths, and detectives. She came from a wealthy upper-middle-class family in Torquay, England, and has crafted 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections. Guinness World Records recognized her as the best-selling fiction writer of all time after having sold more than two billion copies of novels.

Christie also wrote the world’s longest-running stage play, “The Mousetrap,” which holds the world record for the longest initial run. Many of her books and short stories have been adapted into feature films, television series, radio shows, and video games.
