Angelina Jolie’s famous parent is Oscar-winning actor, Jon Voight, who starred in many hit movies, including Mission Impossible, National Treasure, and Midnight Cowboy. Of course, the apple didn’t fall far from the tree here. Jolie has enjoyed a long, storied acting career. She also won an Oscar, just like her father, for her incredible role in the film Girl, Interrupted.
However, when it comes to her complicated relationship with Voight, she is candid. “My father and I don’t speak,” Jolie said. “I don’t believe that somebody’s family becomes their blood. Because my son’s adopted, and families are earned.” While Jolie doesn’t have the best relationship with her father, she did inhere his acting skills. Thankfully, recently, Jolie has said that she and her father have started speaking again.
