Adrien Brody: Magician

How befitting it must have been for actor-producer Adrien Brody to play the role of master magician Harry Houdini in “Houdini” and “Oxygen.” He harbored the ambition of becoming a magician, even performing for his friends and family. As a child, he went by the name “The Amazing Adrien,” earning a paid job at 12 years old.

The Oscar-winning Brody would pursue film production and acting, appearing in the critically acclaimed movie “The Pianist.” One of the youngest Academy Award winners also became the second male American performer to be given the César Award for Best Actor, following the one given to Christopher Lambert.
