How funny it is that before he had his name in lights, stand-up comedian and actor Jerry Seinfeld was actually selling them—to be precise, lightbulbs. He even cracked a joke about how there weren’t many people sitting alone at home in the dark, saying they couldn’t hold out much longer.
The star of “Seinfeld,” a semi-fictionalized version of himself, also dabbles in acting, writing, and film production. Seinfeld has good company with Vin Diesel, who also previously worked as a telemarketer, pre-fame, for a different course. His credits include producing the TV specials “Jerry Before Seinfeld” and “Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours to Kill.”
