Sean Connery: Milkman

The late, legendary actor Sir Sean Connery left behind an indelible mark in our hearts thanks to his outstanding and critically acclaimed performances on screen. He stood out as the first Agent 007 in “Bond” films, starring in seven sequels. The son of a domestic cleaner and a factory worker didn’t have it all smooth sailing, however.

Connery had a humble beginning, dropping out of school at 13 without qualifications to work as a milkman and a lifeguard. The role was in Edinburgh, Scotland, with St. Cuthbert’s Co-operative Society. Connery also served a three-year stint in the Royal Navy and polished coffins.
