Damon Wayans: Summer Youth Corp Member
The Wayans are a well-known family in the entertainment industry. So, many people may not associate them with odd jobs at first. Damon Wayans, the “Lethal Weapon” star, actually started as a Summer Youth Corps member. He would invite children from their neighborhood to do several activities with friends.
One of those children, Michael Kyle Sr. of “My Wife and Kids,” spoke out about how he forged working papers to qualify for the course as a 12-year-old when it only required 14-year-olds. He also admitted to never even being good at it. As for Damon, his prowess isn’t all about acting but also comedy and film writing, and production.
