ECCO I MEMBRI DELL’EQUIPAGGIO
I membri dell’equipaggio del Titanic erano più di 885. Il capitano della nave era Edward John Smith, in prima fila nella foto in questione. L’uomo aveva una certa anzianità di servizio e molta esperienza, per cui pare che avesse deciso che il viaggio sul Titanic avrebbe rappresentato la sua ultima esperienza in mare prima di andare in pensione. Nella foto sono immortalati anche gli ingegneri e gli ufficiali navali. Se hai visto il film ricorderai che il capitano Smith morì proprio sulla nave mentre stava affondando: fu letteralmente il suo ultimo viaggio, quindi non riuscì neppure a godersi la pensione.
