Prison Break: Meet the Alcatraz Inmates Who Flew into Thin Air, Never to Be Seen Again!

An Astonishing Confession Letter

In January 2018, the FBI reopened the Alcatraz escape case after decades of silence. But why did they open the cold-chase search opportunity? Well, the San Francisco Police Department received a letter from an anonymous person calling himself John Anglin in 2013. The letter contained a confession regarding the three escaped inmates.

The person said that he was 83 years old, was Clarence’s brother, and that he was in bad shape health-wise. He added that the three escapees made it, but Frank died in October 2008, and his twin brother died in 2011. According to the BBC report, it seems the author supposedly lived in Southern California.
