As many learned during the coronavirus quarantine, it’s actually quite fun to bake your own bread! In fact, it can become an almost meditative experience. It is truly a tradition to be cherished and carried on for generations. So, you really can’t blame this cat for wanting to get in on the fun! After all, cats, just like everyone else, had to spend their 2020 inside.

Usually, when someone catches their pet stealing food, the pet looks at least a little guilty. But not this furry friend! This cat seems quite content with the fact that they broke into the breadbasket.

Sadly, our cat bread burglar will be in for quite the surprise when he decides to return to his stolen bread. However, in all honesty, it’s all for the best. That bread would have become quite stinky after a few hours in dad’s slippers!

Looking at those big blue eyes, it really looks as though this cat had no idea what he was getting himself into. You can almost hear his thoughts: “Bread is supposed to taste like bread. This does not taste like bread. This tastes like plastic. I’ve made a mistake.” We’re sure that this kitten will think twice about running off with a roll in the future!
