Of course, many of beloved star Winona Ryder’s relationships have become tabloid fodder. However, despite a few broken engagements, Ryder says she has no problems with the way things turned out.

“I’d rather never have been married than been divorced a few times,” Ryder explained to The Edit in 2016. “Not that there’s anything wrong with divorce, but I don’t think I could do it if that was a possibility. When your parents are madly in love for 45 years, your standards are really high. But I’ve been happily with someone for quite a while now.” That might explain why Ryder has never married her partner since 2011, fashion designer Scott Mackinlay Hahn.

Chelsea Handler

No doubt about it, Chelsea Handler is a woman of many talents. From stand-up comedy and talk show hosting to writing and producing, she’s done it all! While, thanks to her multi-show deal with Netflix, Handler has more free time than ever before, she has still yet to find the right person to settle down with.

Still, that has not stopped Handler from looking for her dream man! In recent years, the comedian has dated the likes of TV executive Ted Harbert, hotelier Andre Balazs, rapper 50 Cent, and animal trainer Dave Salmoni. Today, however, she remains happily single.

Charlize Theron

Almost everyone knows Academy Award-winner Charlize Theron as one of the most famous actresses in Hollywood. But you might not know that she thinks little of marriage. “Marriage to me is not that important. I want to have a partner and have a monogamous long-term relationship, I really do. But I don’t need to have a wedding,” she explained to Vogue in 2014. “My heart and my life and how I am with that guy is going to be exactly the same… Let’s put it this way: I never had the dream of the white dress.”

Most recently, Theron was in a nine-year relationship with Stuart Townsend. Sadly, the two parted ways in 2010. Since then, the actress has put her mothering skills to the test by adopting two children, Jackson, 6, and August, 2.

But it isn’t because she’s still searching – Maddow has been in the same relationship for decades! While Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue has enjoyed many several high-profile relationships over the decade, she’s another celebrity who’s never married! Fans have always wondered if Minogue would marry; it seems she loves the single life.

Recently, the 53-year-old superstar announced a relationship with GQ‘s Creative Director, Paul Solomons. When talking about his relationship with actress Jennifer Westfeldt, Hamm said, “We may not have a piece of paper that says we’re husband and wife, but after ten years, Jennifer is more than just a girlfriend. What we have is much deeper…she is the love of my life.”

While famed actress Mary-Louise Parker shares a son with her ex-boyfriend, actor Billy Crudup, and once almost married Jeffrey Dean Morgan, she has never walked down the aisle. In fact, it seems that Parker does not need a husband, after adopting her own daughter in 2007 and raising her right.

“Maybe a psychiatrist would say I’m not married now because I have some sort of father thing. But you know what? That would be the least of my problems,” Parker said. As Parker seems like a great mom, we think that she has no problems to worry about!

Sadly, while Diane Keaton has one of the most successful careers in Hollywood, her love life has not endured the same levels of prosperity. Despite some of the most high-profile relationships ever, marriage bells never rang for Keaton. Many years ago, the Godfather actress wanted to marry her co-star and former boyfriend, Al Pacino, but it didn’t work out.

“He was even less inclined to be realistic than me,” Keaton later said. “And I was on the cusp of being very old. So that poor guy. I don’t think he was really that interested. And I don’t think a long-term happy marriage would be easy for him.” However, Keaton is proof you don’t need to be married to raise children or be happy on your own! The actress loves her life with her two children: son Duke and daughter Dexter.

Believe it or not, Tyra Banks is another successful celebrity who has never tied the not. However, considering her incredibly hectic schedule, it makes some sense. After all, Banks has a long list of jobs: TV host, businesswoman, author, actress, and content producer – just to name a few! However, it seems that all could change soon enough. While Banks recently confirmed that she’s “not engaged,” reports say that she and her boyfriend, Candian businessman Louis Bélanger-Martin, are getting very serious. So we will need to wait and listen for wedding bells!

At 48-years-old, Oscar winner Adrien Brody has still yet to tie the knot. While he’s dated some serious A-listers, like January Jones, Tori Amos, Elsa Pataky, and Keira Knight, it’s simply never worked out. For a while, it seemed that he would marry Michelle Dupont, a music industry personal assistant, especially after they attended the 2003 Oscars together. Sadly, they parted ways just a little while later.

Now, Brody has started dating Georgina Chapman, the former wife of disgraced media mogul Harvey Weinstein. Will this lead to the wedding aisle? Only time will tell! “She thinks he’s unusual and interesting,” a source told People Magazine. “She finds [him] to be an interesting person with a deep passion for his work that is similar to hers.”

While she does not frequently talk about it, TV legend Oprah Winfrey has been in a committed relationship with Stedman Graham since 1986. And while they became engaged in 1992, they ultimately decided to call it off. The reason? Well, according to Winfrey, the reason their relationship has lasted is that the two never married!

“We would not have stayed together, because marriage requires a different way of being in this world,” Winfrey explained to Vogue in 2017. “His interpretation of what it means to be a husband and what it would mean for me to be a wife would have been pretty traditional, and I would not have been able to fit into that.”

For many, many years, Modern Family actress Ariel Winter had no plans on getting married. She was simply happy working on one of the biggest sitcoms of all time and loving her long-term boyfriend, Levi Meaden. However, as Winter recently explained to People Magazine, now that Modern Family has ended, she’s more open to the idea of getting hitched.

Al Pacino

At this point, legendary actor Al Pacino has remained a household name for over five decades. And during that time, The Godfather star has enjoyed some seriously long-term relationships. Most notably, he had a nearly three-year-long relationship with actress Diane Keaton. Since then, Pacino has fathered three children, Julie, Anton, and Olivia, with two different women. However, he has never married.

Still, even at the age of 81, Pacino will not rule out marriage entirely. “I never say never. It’s possible,” Pacino said when asked if he would marry his longtime girlfriend Lucila Polak. Sadly, after a decade together, the couple split in 2018. And while they never married, Polak’s daughter still considers Pacino her step-father.

Jennifer Aniston

Fans are rooting for Jennifer Aniston like no other. Of course, her relationships have included the likes of Brad Pitt and John Mayer, but they’ve never led to marriage. While she did wed actor Justin Theroux, it only lasted three years, ending in 2017.
