Jude Law & Raff Law – Born In 1996 – Actor

When your father is a multi-awarded and critically acclaimed actor, he sure is a tough act to follow. That’s maybe the case between father and son actors, Jude and Raff Law. Jude started his career on stage, then acting in a West End play “Les Parents Terribles,” which earned him an Olivier nomination. 

Meanwhile, Raff is just doing his baby steps in the industry. His first role is playing his father’s younger version in the movie “Repo Men.” The younger Law  finally got his titular role in the 2021 crime drama film “Twist.” The movie is a modernized adaptation of one of Charles Dickens’ classics, “Oliver Twist.”

Will Smith & Willow Smith – Born In 2000 – Singer

Making music must have been running in the Smith’s veins since Willow followed in her father Will’s footsteps in the industry. Although some will say that it might have been just a walk for her, she proved that her parents’ celebrity status is just a bonus for her.

Yes, she started her acting career by playing her father’s daughter in the film  “I Am Legend,” and her first single “Whip My Hair” reached the top 11 in the Billboard Hot 100—she was just eight years old at that time! The music video was even nominated at the 2011 BET Awards for Video of the year.

Growing up in her shadow may have put a lot of pressure on Mamie Gummer, her first daughter with husband Don Gummer but her daughter showed a lot of potential even at just 20 months old. Mamie acted alongside Streep in the movie “Heartburn,” but was given the stage name Natalie Stern. The New York Times even described her as “accomplished enough to steal scenes” from her on-screen and off-screen mother.

Having a professional star footballer as a dad and a superstar/fashion icon as a mom seems to have a lot of perks. Aside from a jet-setting lifestyle, celebrity godparents, and star-studded birthday parties, eventually you’ll become a celebrity yourself. But along with those perks is a life in paparazzi photos and being accused of becoming a “nepo baby.”

Jaden Smith has been always outspoken about how hard it is to live in the spotlight. Being the son of famous rapper and actor Will Smith and actress/TV host Jada Pinkett Smith may have its wins, but may also have losses, especially having a normal childhood. 

The younger Smith even wanted emancipation with consent from his parents for his 15th birthday. But this is not due to his parents’ strict parenting. Will explained that he motivates his children to have their own place and Jaden did in 2017 when he moved into his $4-million house in Hidden Hills.

David Spade might have been blunt about his life whenever he is on stage sharing self-deprecating jokes, but it is rare that we see his beautiful daughter Harper. Back in the early 2000s, the comedian started a relationship with actress and model Jillian Grace, although after their only child was born, their relationship didn’t last. 

Harper lives with her father in Beverly Hills, and there are still no signs that she wants a spotlight of her own, too. Still, whenever the “Hotel Transylvania” voice actor posts a picture of her on his Instagram, followers, and friends shower her with praise.

Blake Lively & James Reynolds – Born In 2014 – None

When your name is used in one of the biggest pop stars of the generation’s song, would you think you have made it? Well, maybe for James Reynolds, the eldest daughter of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, it is no biggie. Her father is just one of the most beloved actors while her actress mother is also a style icon and a frequent Met Gala show-stopper. 

You see, hers and her sisters’ names, Betty and Inez, were referenced in Taylor Swift’s song “betty.” The singer is good friends with Blake and Ryan, so a nod to their children’s names is a cute gesture.
