Meet the Stunning FIFA World Cup Fans Putting the ‘Beautiful’ in “Beautiful Game”
Bolivia
In soccer, teams qualify for the FIFA World Cup by playing against other sides in their continent. That may help to explain why Bolivia, a soccer-loving nation, failed to make it to the 2014 and 2018 editions of the competition. After all, it’s hard to make ends meet when you’re facing the competition of soccer powerhouses such as Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay.
The Bolivian people are no strangers to the excitement of the World Cup, though, and have appeared in a total of three editions. It’s a shame they don’t make it more often, because we’re loving their glamorous cheerleaders!
Iceland
Bonafide soccer fans in Iceland had to wait until 2018 to see their team qualify for the FIFA World Cup. It’s not surprising, especially when one considers that Iceland is a tiny nation with a population of less than 400K. In the competition, Iceland was dropped in the group stage, failing to repeat their UEFA Euro 2016 feats, which included a historic win over England.

Looking at how beautiful the fans of Iceland in the stands were, though, we guess everybody is rooting for this tiny national to qualify for every upcoming FIFA World Cup! Sadly, they failed to do so in 2022.
Brazil
Can one even think of soccer without thinking of Brazil? This sunny Latin-American nation is loved for many reasons, but good soccer players, samba, and beautiful women sit at the very top. In the 2014 and 2018 editions of the FIFA World Cup, Neymar and his fellow teammates failed to win the trophy but ended, respectively, in the fourth and sixth positions.

In the stands, though, Brazil may have finished in first place! Brazilian fans like the woman in the picture are known not only for their lavish looks but also for their positive, party-ready attitude. We can’t imagine a FIFA World Cup without them!
Iran
Iran is not known as a soccer powerhouse, but they’re among the best soccer teams in Asia. For that reason, they managed to qualify for six FIFA World Cups, including the 2022 edition in Qatar. In 2014 and 2018, Iran failed to make it past the group stage—but it’s not like the beautiful Iranian fans even cared!

While Iran failed to win a single game in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, they did land a historic victory in the subsequent 2018 edition. Meanwhile, gorgeous Iranian supporters like the woman in the picture were more than happy to let the world know Iran’s all about love.
Russia
For reasons unrelated to soccer, the Russian national team was prevented from appearing in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. In 2018, however, they welcomed the rest of the world with open arms as the competition’s organizers. Needless to say, most of the stadiums were filled with Russian fans during that World Cup edition.

With the support of their loyal fans—including some model-like beauties—Russia managed to surpass its best World-Cup performance of all time and reached the quarter-finals in 2018. The Russian soccer side once ended in fourth place (1966), but they were still known as the Soviet Union at the time.
Germany
In soccer, there’s an old saying: “It’s 11 against 11 and, in the end, Germany wins.” Apart from producing some of the best cars in the world, Germany is also a soccer superpower and one of the most accomplished teams in the history of the FIFA World Cup. In 2014 they were true to their tradition and finished as champions. Four years later, though, they were eliminated during the group stage, much to everyone’s shock…

Shocked or not, however, the German people were always ready to support their team—through better or worse. Some, like the young girl in the picture, even rocked the perfect German-fan outfit!
England
Let’s make one thing very clear: even though the country is the United Kingdom, old rivalries have always prevented England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland from participating in the FIFA World Cup as a unified side. Out of all the British nations, England is by far the most accomplished, and also boasts some of the prettiest soccer fans the world has ever seen!

Looks do matter, even in soccer, but how has England performed in the most recent editions of the FIFA World Cup? Well, they were shockingly eliminated in the group stage in 2014, but compensated by finishing third in 2018.

Sweden
Sweden is a soccer-loving nation, and the Swedish people are more than accustomed to celebrating their country’s participation in the FIFA World Cup. Even though the Scandinavians didn’t qualify for the 2014 edition of the tournament, they made it to the quarter-finals in 2018. Leading the blue and yellow side was one very special player: the charismatic AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

For years, the veteran was the captain and top star of the Swedish side. As a national hero, Zlatan even found his way into the belly of one of the most gorgeous Swedish soccer fans we have ever seen!
United States
Finishing third in the inaugural edition of the FIFA World Cup, in 1930, was the best the United States team has ever managed to achieve in the competition. To be fair, soccer is hardly the most popular sport in the land of the free, which may help to explain why a superpower such as the United States isn’t “super-powering” in the World Cup.

Even though the nation of the bald eagle is still looking to win its first-ever FIFA World Cup, it cannot complain of a lack of support. They didn’t qualify for the 2018 edition, but they reached the round of 16 in 2014. These two beauties surely helped!
Portugal
Still looking for its first FIFA World Cup win, the nation of Portugal is a small Iberian country with a big passion for soccer. The team of the famous Cristiano Ronaldo reached the group stage in 2014 and lost in the round of 16 in the subsequent edition.

The relatively unimpressive performances of Portugal in the World Cup take nothing away from the passion of its supporters. The woman in the picture is dressed to impress in her all-Portuguese outfit, featuring the Portuguese flag and an “I Love Portugal” t-shirt. Portugal is among the countries that qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Nigeria
Affectionately known as The Eagles, the Nigerian national soccer team qualified for six previous editions of the FIFA World Cup. Arguably one of the top African nations in the history of the sport, Nigeria never made it past the round of 16. However, their fans always finish number one when it comes to excitement levels.

When it’s time for the World Cup to begin and Nigeria is ready to play, one can feel a party getting started in the stands. Because soccer is all about good vibes too, we’re simply loving how happy and carefree that gorgeous Nigerian fan looks.
Brazil
We’re not sure whether this picture was snapped at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, organized in Brazil, or at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, organized in Russia. Judging by the beautiful outfit of this fan, though, Brazil’s our bet: after all, Russia is too cold a place to spend all night without putting on a jacket…

In 2014, the Brazilian people proved to be great World-Cup hosts when they welcomed the rest of the world with open arms. Sadly, the Brazilian soccer side was kicked out of the competition in the nastiest possible way after losing by a whopping 7-1 against Germany at Belo Horizonte’s Mineirão stadium.
