However, every once in awhile, just like the rest of us, even Queen B needs a break from makeup. And she still looks fantastic! We expect to see her without makeup more and more often as her schedule seems to continue expanding. Between her upcoming album, latest Netflix documentary, recent turn in the Lion King remake, and of course, her three small children, we have no idea how she even manages to put on makeup!

Tyra Banks – 46-Years-Old

Supermodel Tyra Banks takes home the title of “Queen of Selfies Without Makeup.” Back in 2015, America’s Next Top Model hostess shared her first raw image on Instagram. She told her fans she had “decided to give you a taste of the real me.” Even without her normal makeup team and photographers, Banks still looks flawless! It’s no wonder she made it so far on the runway, so to speak.

Even since then, the model continues to sere followers makeup-free selfies on her social media accounts. Her fans actually have a large appetite for her candid imagery. Even with a bare face, Banks knows how to “smile with her eyes,” a tip she regularly gives to contestants on her show!

Stacey Dash – 54-Years-Old

The actress and contributor Stacey Dash is proof that makeup in some cases does not change your looks, since you can be just as splendid with it as you can be without. There are times when you just look the same regardless if there is mascara or not – something that without a doubt is good news for anyone who wants to save a few bucks.

Singer-songwriter Alicia Keys is the true example that you don’t need a full painted face in order to look photoshoot ready. In 2016, Keys took the no-makeup policy further than any other celebrity in Tinseltown. You see, the “No One” singer decided to stop wearing cosmetics altogether! However, fans and fashionistas agreed: Keys looks stunning without makeup!

Later, Keys explained her drastic decision in an online article for the Lenny web side. “Every time I left the house, I would be worried if I didn’t put on makeup – what if someone wanted a picture? What if they POSTED it?” the “Empire State of Mind” singer wrote. “[It was] based too much on what other people thought of me.”

Kim Kardashian – 39-Years-Old

Hollywood darling Kim Kardashian has essentially taken over the makeup industry with her many cosmetics lines, all of which have sold incredibly well. LGBT activist and Orange Is the New Black star Laverne Cox, made history in the transgender community when she became the first female transgender to earn an Emmy nomination, for her performance on the Netflix hit series Orange Is the New Black. As her photoshoot-ready makeup shows, Cox is passionate about cosmetics, regularly sharing tips on social media. However, this doesn’t mean that Cox always wears it.

In 2015, the actress posted a selfie without makeup on simply tagged #TransIsBeautiful. Later, Cox admitted there’s one time she opts for a makeup-free look: first dates. “I don’t glam up. I give maybe a little powder for shine, and I’m like – this is it,” the 48-year-old actress said.

Now, more than five decades after she became a star, the singer still loves wearing makeup. In fact, she apparently went through a whopping five pounds of makeup while shooting the most recent Mamma Mia! film. “My mother once said ‘If you don’t pay attention to age, then it won’t pay attention to you.’ And she says it, and it sounds nice, but I don’t buy it,” Cher said during press for Mamma Mia! 2.

Of course, just like everyone else, there are times when even this makeup-loving star needs to go out plain-faced. And when one spots Cher without cosmetics, she looks much more like her actual age, 74.

Gabrielle Union – 47-Years-Old

For some strange reason, a long time ago, someone told celebrities freckles are not cute. So, many, including actress Gabrielle Union, cover them up with a lot of cosmetics. For those not in the know: one of America’s favorite actresses, of Being Mary Jane female, also has the cutest cluster on her face. Now, the 47-years-old has been a judge of America’s Got Talent and directed plenty behind the camera, in addition to becoming an international star. Back in 2019, actress Sofia Vergara shared a cosmetic-free selfie on her Instagram account. However, unlike other celebrities, she didn’t do so to show off her great makeup-free looks. Instead, the Modern Family star just wanted to share with fans that she wasn’t feeling at her best. “Hm… I just realized that 102 fever gives you the perfect shades of pink. I need this colors,” the actress captioned the photo.

Even though Vergara doesn’t regularly share pictures of herself without makeup, she did post another in 2015. Still, while the makeup-less potion of she photo certainly surprised fans, mere were impressed to find out that Vergara is naturally blonde!

One of the most iconic actresses of all time, it’s pretty rare to see Salma Hayek without makeup. However, over the years, Hayek has always made it a point to wear less than one might suspect. When it comes to her makeup approach, Latina singer Shakira is a true believer that “less is more.” However, it’s not because she’s trying to emulate someone. Rather, it’s because, even on tour, the singer likes to do her own makeup! “I feel like the less makeup I use, the better I look,” the star told InStyle Magazine. Through various no makeup selfies, Shakira continues to prove her theory right!

Oddly, one received a negative reaction, with some saying that Barrymore brought the whole “no makeup policy” one step too far. Some people just can’t make up their minds!

However, the E.T. the Extra-Terrestial actress isn’t posting the sans-cosmetics photos for her fans, critics, or even herself! They’re for her daughters. “I’m now determined more than ever to show my daughters that aging is a luxury,” she revealed to People. “If we’re lucky, we are all going to age. I just want them to be at peace with who they are and not what they look like.”

Penélope Cruz – 47-Years-Old

You have seen this Spanish model and actress in screenplays such as Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona in 2008.
