In America, McDonald’s only sells dessert hand pies. However, in Japan, they also sell delicious, savory hand pies for snack time. The fast-food giant released the Bacon Potato Pie all the way back in 1990, and it became an instant favorite. While the outside is similar to the American Apple Pie, the inside is instead stuffed with potato, onions, and bacon.
In addition to snack pies, Japanese McDonald’s’ also have country-specific dessert pies, including delicious baked taro and a s’mores pie. Who’s up for a quick trip to Japan for a visit to McDonald’s?
