DANNY BLIND – VOETBALLER – DIEMEN, € 1.250.000
Twintig jaar lang was Danny Blind als speler op de Nederlandse velden te zien, eerst bij Sparta Rotterdam en vervolgens bij Ajax. Niet alleen won hij er de harten van de vele fans, hij wist zelfs als verdediger heel vaak het doel te vinden. Nadien trok hij van Ajax naar het Nederlandse elftal om er als trainer te werken. Ondertussen heeft hij de stok al doorgegeven aan zijn zoon Daley die de bekendheid van zijn vader minstens weet te evenaren. Al vele jaren woont Danny in Amsterdam, maar een paar jaar terug was hij voer voor de roddelpers, toen hij zijn villa in Diemen te koop zette. Het optrekje waar hij in 1998 net geen half miljoen euro voor had betaald, werd te koop gezet voor een vraagprijs van 1,25 miljoen euro. Een aardige winst, die na een korte periode waarbij hij het pand van de markt haalde en later terug te koop aanbood, wisselde het huis met zeven kamers van eigenaar.
