SYLVIA HOEKS – MODEL, ACTRICE – LOS ANGELES
Nadat Sylvia Hoeks al enige landelijke bekendheid kon verwerven als actrice in onder andere Vuurzee, Overspel en Bloedverwanten, werd ze ook internationaal opgemerkt. Ooit begon ze nog als model bij Elite Model, waarbij ze zowat heel Europa mocht afreizen om op de catwalk te staan, maar ondertussen heeft ze zich volledig geconcentreerd op de filmindustrie. In 2017 kreeg ze een aanbod om in de blockbuster Blade Runner 2049 mee te spelen en twijfelde ze niet. Ze nam haar koffers, stapte het vliegtuig op en ging in Los Angeles wonen samen met haar vriend Boaz en haar honden. Ondertussen is ze wereldwijd doorgebroken en krijgt ze aardig wat grotere rollen aangeboden. Haar woning blijft voorlopig een groot geheim al zal ze zich met een vermogen van enkele miljoenen vast een mooi optrekje hebben aangeschaft.
